Software
Live To Disc only uses what the recording industry has deemed the standard in the industry, Digidesign's Pro Tools on the Macintosh platform. Along with the mobile Pro Tools rig, Live to Disc has a separate studio for mixing and mastering.
Hardware
The mobile rig is based around an Apple 17" Powerbook. It features a pair of M-Audio Profire interfaces giving a total of 16 mic preamps. Mic's mixers and a host of accessories round out the mobile hardware list. The mixing and mastering studio is run on a dual processor Mac G5. Monitoring is done through a vintage Sansui power amp and Rogersound Lab 3800 Studio Monitors as well as a pair of KRK powered monitors with a V12 subwoofer.
Hi-Def Video
Two HDV Hi-Def video cameras capture the footage. We hope to add more cameras to the arsenal soon. Hi-Def video is edited in Final Cut Pro. DVD authoring is also available. Web video clips an be provided in the following formats: Quicktime MOV, Windows Media WMV, AVI, MPEG & FLV Flash.
